Part-time Bookkeeper
(Approximately 10 hrs/month)
The Downtown Guelph Business Association (DGBA) is hiring a part-time bookkeeper. Responsibilities include:
- Monthly reconciliations of bank statement, Visa, gift certificates
- Payroll: ROEs, T4s, and semi-monthly paycheques
- Accounts payable: processing cheques, filing invoices
- Accounts receivable: processing invoices
- Printing financial statements as needed
- Preparing bank deposits
- Closing books annually and inputting upcoming yearly budget
- Assisting with audit preparations
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years’ bookkeeping experience, preferably within a non-profit environment
- Education: bookkeeping courses/certificate
- Certified Bookkeeper designation or equivalent
- Familiarity with accounting software “MYOB”
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- The ability to maintain confidentiality
